Abstract
In this research, Sana'I pieces have been analyzed based on macro linguistics, and the macro construction of his pieces has been determined. The macro structure of these pieces can be considered based on the structures of "description", "recommendation" and "explanation", which in some cases also contain the structures of "complaint", "desire" and "regret". Based on this point of view, Sana'i pieces are divided into several categories:single-structure, two-structure, three-structure, four-structure and in few cases five-structure. The most important and most used structure in these poems is the structure of description, which in terms of content is divided into substructures including: praise, lamentation, satire, expression of one's condition, as well as some other general categories such as: God, man and the world. It can be Due to the predominance of the descriptive element, the language in these pieces finds a referential function that is often mixed with the poet's emotions and feelings. Therefore,in the communication process of Sana'i's pieces, the sender (poet), the receiver (addressee) and the subject of the message are in the center and focus of attention, and from this point of view, his pieces can be considered emotional, persuasive and referential. Of course, it is expressed in literary language.
