چکیده

ادبیات مدرن، نقد ادبی و فلسفه­ی غرب، تأثیر عظیمی از نظریات آیریس مورداک، یکی از نامدارترین نویسندگان انگلیسی و فلاسفه­ی غرب، پذیرفته اند، اما متأسفانه این نویسنده و متفکر بزرگ کمتر در ایران شناخته شده است. در بیشتر رمان های مورداک، فلسفه نقش مهمی در روند حوادث و شخصیت ‌پردازی ایفاء می‌کند و مسائل مختلف فلسفی- اخلاقی، همانند دیدگاه وی درباره­ی عشقو قدرت آن، هنر، اخلاقیات، خوبی، خدا و حقیقت، با بافت رمان در هم آمیخته‌اند. در واقع، یکی از محورهای اصلی هر یک از این رمان‌ها، وجود عشاقی است که تعاملات، احساسات و افکار آنها، قدرت اخلاقی و تهذیب کننده­ی عشق را به تصویر می کشند.
از آنجاکه دیدگاه مورداک درباره­ی آثار اخلاقی و نیز ویژگی های عشق حقیقی، در مقایسه با عشق مجازی، در واقع بازتابی از مطالعات وسیع وی و سال ها تدریس، تفکر و تعمق در ادبیات و فلسفه­ی غرب بوده است، هدف نگارندگان از این پژوهش که به روش کتابخانه ای انجام شده است, بررسی و شناسایی عنصر عشق و قدرت آن در دو رمان مورداک (زیر تور و شاهزاده ی سیاه) است که منجر به شناساندن جایگاه عشق در این رمان ها و بطور کلی در ادبیات مورداک، و در سطحی وسیع تر، نوع نگرش غربی نسبت به موضوع عشق در ادبیات خواهد شد.

Power of love in the novels of “Under Lace” and “Black Prince” by Murdoch

چکیده [English]

     Modern literature, literary criticism, and west philosophy have all been influenced by the opinions of Iris Murdoch, one of the greatest English writers and West philosophers, however, unfortunately this famous writer and thinker is not known well in Iran. In most of Murdoch’s novels, philosophy plays an important role throughout events and in characterization and different ethical-philosophical notions such as his viewpoints about love and its power, art, ethics, goodness, God and reality are interwoven with the novel. In fact, one of the main parts of each novel is the lovers whose feelings, emotions and interactions illustrate the ethical and refining power of love.
    Since Murdoch’s opinion about characteristics of real love versus virtual love is, in fact, a reflection of his years of experiences, studies, teaching, and thinking in west literature and philosophy, the aim of the writer in this library study was to investigate and introduce love and its power in two novels of ‘Under Lace” and “Black Prince” which hopefully can lead to presenting the position of love in Murdoch’s works and in a broader scale in west literature
