The praise poet, as a subject caught in the ruling system, uses the role of poetry, and especially the ode, as a linguistic tool in the game of conventional court discourse, to emerge and expand the discourse of domination. Anvari, in this role, is one of the prominent praise poets belonging to the period of the flourishing of courtly praise poems in the sixth century. The present study was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method and aimed at examining how influential and important linguistic components function in identifying discursive and ideological mechanisms in Anvari's odes. The result shows that the code as one of the semantic elements in the lexical layer, and the verb aspect in the syntactic layer, has played a very important role in shaping the meaning in the praise discourse and political goals of the poet's odes. The use of code and the use of positive orientations and definite aspects of the verb have led to the emphasis and consolidation of authority, religiosity and the construction of a national image and an ideal, transcendental and sacred personality of the praised one, and has shaped the discourse of praise in the linguistic structure of the Anvari odes .
